Contractor Magazine: Cast Iron Soil Pipe for Aggressive Sanitary Applications

Traditionally, cast iron soil pipe and fittings have been used for drainage systems, but with the introduction of more aggressive waste, engineers and facility operators are seeking new solutions. Enhanced coated cast iron soil pipe products are gaining popularity as they offer the benefits of traditional cast iron while negating its major drawback of corrosion in aggressive applications.
