Charlotte Pipe and Foundry Company (CPF) Privacy Statement
Information Gathered By CPF.
In general, we gather information about all of our users collectively, and not on
an individual basis, for purposes such as determining which parts of our website
users access most frequently. This information helps us determine which parts of
our website are most beneficial for users, and how we can continually create a better
overall experience for you. We only use such data in the aggregate and anonymously.
We currently contract with online partners to help manage and optimize our Internet
business and communications. We use the services of a marketing company to help
us measure the effectiveness of our advertising and how visitors use our site. To
do this, we use Web beacons and cookies provided by our marketing company on this
site. The type of information we gather may include, but is not limited to, the
following: the activity of the site visitor’s browser when the visitor is viewing
the site; the site path of visitors; and the time visitors come to the site. By
supplementing our records, this information helps us learn things like what pages
are most attractive to our visitors, which of our products most interest our customers,
and what kinds of offers our customers like to see. Although our marketing company
logs the information coming from our site on our behalf, we control how that data
may and may not be used. If you do not want to help us learn how to improve our
site, products, offers and marketing strategy, you have the ability to accept or
decline cookies on your computer by modifying the settings in your Internet browser.
However, you may not be able to use all the interactive features of our website
if cookies are disabled.
Information About You Specifically.
In some instances, we allow you to provide us with specific information about you,
such as your name, title, address, e mail address and telephone number. If you elect
to provide us with your personal or business information, we may use that information
to provide you with a product or service that you have requested, to answer a question
you have submitted to us, or to notify you of other information regarding CPF. If
you provide us with your personal or business information, but later decide you
no longer want us to use your information, simply let us know by submitting your
request at the “Contact” section of the website or by an email addressed to
WEBMASTER@CHARLOTTEPIPE.COM.
General Information Disclosure.

your individual visits to the CPF website, or any personal or business information
that you provide to us, such as your name, address, e mail address, telephone number,
etc., to any unaffiliated third-parties, except (i) when we believe the law requires
it or to protect CPF, our users or others, and (ii) to the appropriate CPF personnel
who will provide some or all of the service you requested.
Cookies.
To enhance your experience on our website, we use a feature on your Internet browser
called a “cookie”. Cookies are small files that are placed on your computer’s hard
drive. They are used for a variety of reasons, such as remembering user names and
passwords and preferences, tracking click streams, and for load balancing. By using
cookies, we can deliver faster service, consistent, updated results, and a more
personalized experience on our website. Your browser gives you the option to reject
cookies. However, setting your browser to reject cookies generally hinders the browser’s
performance and will adversely affect your experience while using our website.
